GETTING TO KNOW

EACH OTHER

On Saturday the 25th of May we waited anxiously for the Hungarian students to arrive. They came by bus at around 5 pm that afternoon on Prišćapac. We were arranged to be in rooms mixed with the Hungarian students that way we could get to know each other better.

On Sunday at 9 am when our workshops started, the students from the Mediterranean Flora and Biocenosis group gathered on the beach together. First our teachers welcomed them and told them that we are all hoping it’s going to be nice weather during their stay. We then sat in a circle and played a name game. What we had to do was to say our name and our favourite animal and we had to try memorising all the names and favourite animals of the players before. The game really helped because that way we got to know the names of the students quicker. After that we had to sit in pairs and we had to tell our partner about ourselves. We had 3 minutes to do so. Then pair by pair we were called in the middle of the circle to tell the rest of the students about what we remembered about our partner’s life. We all had lots of fun and we laughed together. This was the beginning of our friendship which we hope will last even after this Euro Camp.
