MICROSCOPING On Tuesday it was bad weather. It was raining so we were unable to work outdoors. Instead we worked inside with a microscope. We took a look at the layers of some plants, a starfish, algae etc… under the microscope which was quite interesting. We saw things under the microscope which you wouldn’t believe you can see. We saw the nucleolus, cell membrane etc… of a leaf or whatever we put underneath the microscope. That afternoon we were divided into groups and each group was given its own place on the peninsula to draw and to collect plants. We drew a landscape of the rocks and sea of the area which we were given. In that place we had to find as much different plants as possible. After a while we went back and determined the names of the plants. We learnt a lot of new names.
